I would like to take digital maps out with me. Will Pocket Anquet let me
do this?
Yes. Pocket Anquet is a very powerful cut down version of the main Anquet
system which will run on any Microsoft powered Pocket PC or Smartphone.
With Pocket Anquet installed on your device, you can take all your maps
and routes out with you into the great outdoors. If you device has a built
in GPS unit (which most new devices do), then Anquet can show your position
in real-time on the map as you walk. It can also create a tracklog of where
you have been, and navigate you waypoint to waypoint down any route you have
plotted.
Whilst most users use Pocket Anquet as a companion to the PC application,
routes can be plotted on the device in the field, or alterations made.
