  educational use of Anquet maps

Any Anquet Technology retail product can be used for education. Each product used for education is automatically granted an Educational License which allows the product to be installed and/or used via a network on a maximum of 35(Thirty five) computers.

For those educational establishments that require to install Anquet Maps on a network, we offer the Anquet Educational Network Tool which is available via a web download free of charge. The tool is only available to education users, and this is strictly controlled by the Ordnance Survey. Before we can release the tool, we will need to obtain some information from the institution for audit purposes with the Ordnance Survey.

Anquet Technology's educational Terms and Conditions

Anquet Maps and the Anquet Educational Network Tool may be used by educational establishments for education purposes only. Educational establishments include Local Authority managed, Direct Grant funded and independent schools for the education of children of up to age 17, Sixth Form colleges and other higher or further education establishments. In addition it may be used by scout, guide, YMCA and Duke of Edinburgh groups and cadet units. The Anquet Educational Network Tool may not be used for any other purposes.

 Educational entitlement

The following organisations are entitled to register as educational users,

  • Local Authority managed, Direct Grant funded and independent schools for the education of children of up to age 17
  • Sixth Form colleges and other higher or further education establishments
  • Scout, guide, YMCA and Duke of Edinburgh groups and cadet units

Any of the above can apply for an educational license to use Anquet Maps products. We also offer a free tool to allow these establishments to install Anquet Maps on a network. To obtain this tool you will need to provide more information about the establishment and may need to send verification that the tool only be put to educational use.
