Anquet Maps can be operated on your Pocket PC or Smartphone, making all the fantastic benefits of Anquet instantly portable. Pocket Anquet software is part of the standard Anquet software package. Map areas are selected on your PC for download to Pocket PC or Smartphone while routes and waypoints can be created either on your PC or handheld device. The Anquet Data Explorer provides a set of powerful data management tools with which you can organise your routes and waypoints in a variety of different ways. Routes and waypoints are filed in databases and their content and appearance can be customised as required. With the Anquet Data Explorer you can maintain detailed records on routes and waypoints and modify or re-organise them effortlessly.

The Anquet Virtual GPS^TM is an exciting and innovative new feature, bringing GPS functionality to the Anquet user at the touch of a button. The Anquet Virtual GPS^TM displays current position, altitude, bearing, waypoint name, direction arrow, distance to next waypoint and distance to the end of the route, thus uniquely combining GPS functionality and high quality OS Landranger^® and/or Explorer^TM maps in one application.

The Anquet LiveTrack positioning system allows you to see your position in real time on the OS map displayed. You can opt for a simple location display with a moving map or show a sequence of points which indicate the track you have followed to reach your current position.

Information can be displayed for each route to allow you to check out the statistics before you start. The user has the option to adjust the content of the information screen.

Anquet Photo Maps contain superb, high definition aerial photography which can be read like a map but which include, in stunning detail, all the features of the landscape that conventional maps cannot show. With Photo Maps loaded on your handheld device you will be able to see extra detail on the ground over which your route passes.

Locate any feature on the OS map with the simple but powerful search tools. All places and features named on OS Landranger^® maps are included in the list of entries.

The Anquet Virtual GPS and Anquet LiveTrack require a signal from a Bluetooth GPS, a wired GPS unit or an in-built GPS receiver
